KydzTeenFest Competitions
KydzTeenFest isn’t just a festival — it’s a platform to spotlight the creativity, confidence, leadership, and brilliance of children and teenagers.
We’re calling on young changemakers, artists, writers, coders, dancers, and thinkers from primary and secondary schools to step forward and shine.
🎨 Drawing Competition
Theme: “The Family I Dream Of”
Categories: Primary & Secondary
Type of Art: Freehand Drawing (pencil, color, marker, or paint) on A4 or A3 paper
Entry Requirements:
- Primary: One drawing on A4 paper
- Secondary: One drawing on A3 paper
- Scan or take a clear photo of the drawing (JPEG or PNG)
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity – 30%
- Theme Interpretation – 20%
- Originality – 20%
- Public Engagement – 30% (Instagram likes + comments)
Steps to Enter:

- Post the artwork on Instagram, tag @KydzTeenFest, and invite us as collaborator

💃 Dancing Competition
Theme: “Dance with Values”
Categories: Primary & Secondary
Song Choice: Choose one from three official TheGoodKydz YouTube songs below;
- Dance Track for Kids
- Dance Track for Teens
Entry Requirements:
- Record a full dance routine using your selected song
- Solo or group entries allowed (Max 5 people)
- Must use one of the provided songs only
Judging Criteria:
- Choreography & Execution – 30%
- Creativity & Expression – 20%
- Costume & Presentation – 20%
- Public Engagement – 30% (Instagram likes + comments)
Steps to Enter:

- Select your song and film your dance video
- Fill the dance competition form and upload full dance video
- Post on Instagram, tag @KydzTeenFest, and invite us as collaborator

📝 Writing Competition
Theme: “If I Were a Parent in My Home for One Day”
Categories: Primary & Secondary
Entry Format: Typed document (Word or PDF)
Entry Requirements:
- 500 words for primary
- 750 words for secondary
- Must be original, typed, and submitted in English
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity & Imagination – 30%
- Structure & Grammar – 20%
- Depth & Clarity – 30%
- Originality – 20%
(No public voting)

Categories: Primary & Secondary
Entry Type: In-person tournament
Entry Requirements:
- Must know the basic rules of chess
- Selected players will be invited for pre-festival training
- Tournament will be held live on the festival day
Judging Criteria:
- Tournament Performance – 100%
(No online voting)

💻 Techpreneurship Pitch
Theme: “Solve a Real-Life Problem Using Tech”
Categories: Primary & Secondary
Type: Business pitch (existing tech product or a strong idea)
Entry Requirements:
- Upload a 2-minutes pitch video explaining your tech idea or product
- Clearly explain the problem, solution, and how your tech works
- Must be an original idea or an existing tech-enabled business
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation & Relevance – 30%
- Pitch Presentation – 20%
- Feasibility – 20%
- Public Engagement – 30% (Instagram likes + comments)

💼 Entrepreneurship Showcase (Non-Tech)
Open to: Kids & Teens aged 7–17
Type: Non-competitive showcase
Do you run a business? Sell crafts, snacks, books, or anything else? Come showcase it at the biggest family festival of the year — for FREE! 🛍️ Limited spaces available!
Entry Requirements:
- Must have an existing product or service
- Showcase space is shared (not one booth per child)
- Selection based on originality, business type, and impact
- No competition, no voting, just a chance to sell & shine

- Await email with next steps if selected
